Ghent River Hotel

The best part was the breakfast with freshly baked pastries and a fine river view 🥐 Only downside was the noise from adjoining rooms, which affected my sleep a bit.

Optimal location to the city centre - everything was within walking distance. Friendly staff and nice, clean room. Breakfast was good with a large selection. Missing products were replaced immediately.

For breakfast, the preparation of scrambled rice, sausages and fried bacon (must be left longer in the pan) is an option.

Plenty and delicious dinner !!! Enough for a stopover.

There is nothing to complain about...ah the parking is a little bit complicated and expensive 21Euro...

Location is well close to the center. Hotel is in a quiet location. Small beautiful garden to sit outside

The breakfast was great, the staff was very quick to refill and clean everything

The bathrooms were not properly cleaned or after a day we were there then not at all, towels were laid ready but neither toilet, wash basin or shower cleaned. That's what we said at the reception. I must say that was inadequate for the chambermaids or cleaning staff.

This hotel was a perfect match for getting around Ghent with great value for money. The room was very clean and spacious, made our stay enjoyable. If you're visiting, make sure to check out the nearby sights on foot.

Room carpets and bathroom floor felt dirty and bed was too soft

Beautiful modern and comfortable rooms where you can feel at home. There is also a very nice courtyard. The location is such that one can get to all sightseeings within walking distance.

Unfortunately we could only stay one night and had to leave early in the morning. We thought that was a great pity.

the location was close to city center

card key did not work. Room was dirty (used towel on floor, used shampoo bottle on sink). Hotel was very loud (very little sound insulation). Shower was extremely small -- kept accidentally turning off the water as I turned around in the shower (kept bumping the handle)

beautiful location, minutes from friday market square. and only 15 minutes walking to downtown. perfectly clean room plus air conditioning, complimentary wi-fi and coffee.

It was local to the pretty canal front with all its restaurants and bars and shops. You only to walk 2 mins and you were near some life. Location was good.

There wasnt much i didnt like about the Hotel, i guess if I thought about it long enough i could come up with something but that in its self says a lot
