Exploring the city was a blast! We enjoyed the picturesque views and even took a stroll by the canal where we watched the tourist boats. Breakfast was a treat with delicious cheeses and fish, adding a nice local flavor to our mornings.
In my children’s opinion, the breakfast timing was too late, as they wanted an earlier start to the day.

The stay at River was pleasant. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, efficiently assisting in my business needs. The bar provided a nice selection of beers and had a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast on the top floor offered a well-stocked array of options including freshly baked pastries. The location in the city center made it very convenient for exploring Ghent.
The room lacked soundproofing and the air conditioning was ineffective.

Great spot for exploring!
This hotel is super close to the heart of Ghent. Just step out, turn right, and bam! You're at one of the main squares. The bar's cozy, and we loved the beer selection. The room was clean and comfy, but honestly, it looked more basic than the pics. Oh, and parking? Good luck with that.
